Hi! I'm Adam Beskind (he/him), a music director, pianist, conductor, and copyist based in New York City.

I am currently serving as Music Assistant for the pre-Broadway production of Death Becomes Her at Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre.

On Broadway, I was the Music Assistant for Water for Elephants, which began performances at Broadway's Imperial Theatre in February 2024, and for the 2023 Broadway revival of Spamalot. I was also Music Assistant and Key 1/Conductor Sub for the world premiere of Invincible (The Wallis, Los Angeles, CA).

In New York, I often work with New York City Center

Encores!, most recently on Once Upon a Mattress (Music Preparation) and Dear World (Music Associate). I also frequently assist prominent music supervisors/music directors Rob Fisher and Mary-Mitchell Campbell

I have also served as music director for developmental readings of Last in the Class (Dan Elish) and The Guild (Marc Schenfisch/Sam Balzac).

Passionate about arts education, I've spent many summers at Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute (Hilton Head Island, SC) supporting high school students pursuing careers in musical theatre.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, I am a proud graduate of Duke University, where I received my B.A. in Music (Piano Performance Concentration) and was heavily involved in Hoof 'n' Horn, Duke's student-run musical theatre organization. I am a proud member of AFM Local 802.
