Hi! I'm Adam Beskind (he/him), a New York City-based music director, pianist, conductor, and copyist.

On Broadway, I am currently on the music team for Death Becomes Her (Keyboard 2 Sub/Rehearsal Pianist/Music Assistant). Additional Broadway credits include Water for Elephants (Keyboard 2 Sub/Rehearsal Pianist/Music Assistant), Once Upon a Mattress (Music Copying), and Spamalot (Music Assistant). I also served as Music Assistant for pre-Broadway productions of The Queen of Versailles (Emerson Colonial Theatre, Boston), Death Becomes Her (Cadillac Palace Theatre, Chicago), and Water for Elephants (Alliance Theatre, Atlanta).

In New York, I often work with New York City Center
Encores!, most recently on Urinetown (Rehearsal Pianist), Once Upon a Mattress (Music Preparation), and Dear World (Music Associate).

I have also served as music director for developmental readings of Last in the Class (Dan Elish) and The Guild (Marc Schenfisch/Sam Balzac).

Passionate about arts education, I've spent many summers with The College Audition Edge (NYC) and Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute (Hilton Head Island, SC) supporting high school students pursuing careers in musical theatre.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, I am a proud graduate of Duke University, where I received my B.A. in Music (Piano Performance Concentration) and was heavily involved in Hoof 'n' Horn, Duke's student-run musical theatre organization. I am a proud member of AFM Local 802.
